A message to the Church Commissioners – “You cannot serve God and money”

I find it concerning that the Arun Local Plan 2011 – 2031 Publication Version quotes the housing allocation for the villages of Barnham, Eastergate and Westergate as “at least 2,000 homes” and the masterplan produced by the Church Commissioners (as landowners) and their associates outlines proposals for “approximately 3,000 homes”.

Luken Beck who represent the Church Commissioners have made representations to increase the strategic allocation to 3,000 houses.

This demonstrates that the Church Commissioners are nothing more than predatory developers. They are using the church as “cover” for their predatory conduct.

I am reminded of Matthew 6:24 “No one can serve two masters, for either he will hate the one and love the other, or he will be devoted to the one and despise the other. You cannot serve God and money.”

The wealth of the Cof E is staggering, and when you watch them on the TV the amount of money spent on their dresses alone would solve many homeless people’s problems. If you don’t believe me ask yourself when you saw a poor Vicar or Priest or one that went bankrupt!!!!
